CTDOT Driver Preference Surveys for the I-84 Hartford Project

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is conducting driver preference surveys to learn how drivers may change their travel decisions under different construction scenarios and timeframes for the reconstruction of I-84 in Hartford. The surveys will target drivers who currently use I-84, I-91 and alternate routes that may be affected by the construction.

The survey will be open until the end of February 2017. This survey is best experienced using a desktop, laptop, or tablet computer.

The information gathered from the surveys will be used to determine if and under what circumstances drivers would decide to change their travel times, carpool, use mass transit or seek alternative routes to avoid construction-related delays. The results will help CTDOT plan the best possible strategies to manage the future construction on I-84 in Hartford.
